Lego Art

Adam Tucker received his Bachelor of Architecture in 1996 from K-State.

Artists use many forms of media to create art, such as paint, wood, clay and metal. An exhibit at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry displays the artistic talent of Adam Reed Tucker ’96 who creates art with LEGO® plastic bricks— nearly a half million bricks in one work alone.

Programs Again Among America's Best

Academic programs in the K-State College of Architecture, Planning and Design were ranked as follows in the 2010 nation-wide survey of leading firms across the United States:

  • bachelor of interior architecture/design programs - third;
  • master of interior architecture/design program - seventh;
  • bachelor of landscape architecture program - third;
  • master of landscape architecture program - fourth;
  • bachelor of architecture program - sixth; and
  • master of architecture program - sixteenth.
